Fresh Mix-ins for your glass of Cold Lemonade
There is nothing more enjoyable than a glass of sweet tea or lemonade on a hot summer day.
Try some of these mix-ins with your lemonade this summer for a new twist on an old favorite!
1. fresh gingerroot and pear slices
2. sliced kiwifruit or honeydew slices
3. fresh mint and lime slices
4. crushed lemon drops and lemon slices
5. pureed watermelon, watermelon slices
6. fresh blackberries, sage leaves
7. cranberry juice cocktail and fresh cranberries
8. guava juice and papaya slices
Classic lemonade recipe:
In a large pitcher stir together 3 cups cold water, 1 cup lemon juice
and 3/4 cup sugar until sugar is dissolved. Chill; serve over ice with
desired garnishes and mix-ins.

Perfect for Easter Brunch Buffet
Lime -Scented Mango-Strawberry Salad

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated lime zest
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 3 cups trimmed, sliced strawberries (about 2 lb.)
- 3 cups peeled, diced mangoes (2 to 3 large mangoes
Preparation
- 1. Combine sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until sugar has dissolved, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in lime zest and juice; let cool to room temperature.
- 2. Mix strawberries with mangoes in a large bowl. Add syrup and gently stir until well mixed. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
- YIELD: Serves 8
- COOK TIME:3 MINUTES
- PREP TIME:20 MINUTES
- CHILL:30 MINUTES

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us
sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though
someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God
showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still
sinners.
