An Apple a Day: A Meditation for Today

~May I learn to receive well even if it is not exactly what I want.
May I rejoice wholeheartedly in others' happiness.
May I accept things as they are.
May I be open and balanced.

May I find serenity, equanimity and peace.

An Apple a Day: Ephesians 6:16 (NIV)

Ephesians 6:16

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faithwith which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Fear and anxiety may plague us, but God wants us to use our shield of faith to shoot down these feelings. If we are persistent in doing this, soon our feelings will fall in line with our faith!  Have a blessed day!

An Apple a Day: Psalm 37:7 (NKJV)

~Rest in the Lord,
and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him
who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who
brings wicked schemes to pass.

"God wants us to relax and sit
quietly with Him daily.  Make your
mind like a still pool of water, ready
to receive whatever thoughts He
wants to drop into it.  Don't fret
over what others are doing, and
don't forget who you are and
Whose you are!~"FT

An Apple a Day: Quote

"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth,
so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind.
To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again.
To make a deep mental path, we must think over and
over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives"
