An Apple a Day: John 16:24 (AMP)

John 16:24 (AMP)

24Up to this time you have not asked
a [single] thing in My Name [as [a]presenting
all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking
and you will receive, so that your joy
(gladness, delight) may be full and complete.

Commentary: We need God every moment every day.
Our awareness of our constant need for Him is our
greatest strength. The emptiness we feel inside will
be filled either with problems or with God's presence.
We have to make the choice!!

An Apple a Day: Jeremiah 29:11-13

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you,"; says the LORD.
"They are plans for good and not for disaster,
to give you a future and a hope.In those days when you pray, I will
listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

This is one of my favorite verses because I know God is in charge,
and it reminds me that I AM NOT in control of what happens,
and it takes a load off of my mind!

An Apple a Day - Colossians 1:27 (NIV)

~To them God has chosen to make known
known among the Gentiles the glorious
riches of this mystery, which IS Christ in you,
the hope of glory. ~ Colossians 1:27 (NIV)

Today, if you are looking for lasting peace,
you will not find it in the world around you,
in circumstances, or in human relationships.

Real peace resides deep within you, if you
are a child of God.  It is waiting to be
tapped by you.

Take the time to dig deep and delve into
the riches of God's residing peace within you.
Embrace the peace God has already offered
you, just claim it, in the name of Jesus!!

An Apple a Day- 1 John 4:10 (NLT)

1 John 4:10

This is real love—not that we loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son as a
sacrifice to take away our sins.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Not just today on Valentine's Day, but every day remember this:

"Present your family and friends with their eulogies now - they won't be able to hear how much you love them and appreciate them from the grave." ~Anonymous

An Apple a Day: Matthew 5:43-45

Matthew 5:43-45

[Teaching about Love for Enemies]
You have heard the law that says, 'Love your
neighbor' and hate your enemy.
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute
you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your
Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to
both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just
and the unjust alike.

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has
