Well, here we are in a brand new year, 2010. I'm full of anticipation, wonder and hesitancy all at the same time asking, "Where will this year take us?" Who will be born, who will die, who will find Jesus, who will find out they have cancer? All of these things will happen in most of our families. There will be joyful days, sad days, energetic days, lazy days, sunny days and gloomy days. Life changes so fast, it's so short, it's so unpredictable and it's so precious. The only thing we can be sure of is that circumstances are going to change. How will each of us deal with it? We won't know until we face each circumstance.
Make God your focus this year. Pray for the world, for sinners, for friends, family, for yourself. Stay in his word. Use HIS shoulder to cry on, treat HIM like your Daddy, for HE is your Father, run to JESUS, and find refuge in the BEST FRIEND you will ever have.
