An Apple a Day: Hebrews 12:1-2 (NIV)

~~1)Therefore, since we are surrounded by
such a great cloud of witnesses, let us
throw off everything that hinders and the
sin that so easily entangles, and let us run
with perseverance the the race marked out
for us. 2) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the
author and perfecter of our faith who for the joy
set before him endured the cross, scorning
its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God.

Today Lord help us to stay conscious of you
throughout this day. Your presence is a promise
and a protection to us.  Help us not to take our
our eyes off of you, lest we fall in pits of self-
pity, despair, pride and self--will.  Let us be
aware of your presence all day, everyday.

This is our greatest protection!
