Apple-Pumpkin Butter

1 3/4 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup apple, peeled, cored, and grated
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan
bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer
1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.  Yields: 3 cups
