silence those ignorant people who make
foolish accusations against you.For you are free,

1 John 4:18-20 (NIV)
~Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue
but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know
that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts
at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us.
For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows
everything.

[Instructions about Worship] I urge you, first of all,
to pray for all people. Ask God to help them;
intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority
so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by
godliness and dignity.
